Experience
Before joining Farrer Huxley Associates, Katy worked with the Derek Lovejoy Partnership and Townsend Landscape Architects. She handled a wide range of commercial schemes including the delivery of large-scale soft landscape projects with specialist plant procurement and maintenance/landscape management issues. She has particular experience working with property developers in large multidisciplinary teams. At FHA Katy has managed an extensive portfolio of education projects, working from conception through to delivery on site. She has also led numerous housing regeneration schemes.

Key Skills
Katy has a creative approach to landscape architecture, which stems from a training in art, geography and landscape. Planting is a special interest and she produces carefully designed schemes. Katy enjoys research and using both visual and written material to convey ideas and arguments. She is excellent at both communication and listening to the needs of users.

Interests
Having grown up in London and a keen city walker, Katy is interested in ideas to improve the quality of the urban fabric.  She has a personal interest in approaches to 'greening' the city and has developed an interest in play and education within the built environment.
