Lily Bakratsa

Landscape Architect

Lily is committed to communities, strongly advocating the involvement of end-users in creative development.

During her time at FHA Lily has engaged with a number of community groups, and has expertise in a lively mix of consultation approaches. She is a creative and skilled focus group moderator, who has brought together multiple resident groups to ensure community opinion is at the heart of the landscape design. She is also experienced in facilitating creative workshops with hard to reach groups. These have included stakeholder forums - which have brought together consultants, residents and clients - and creative workshops with vulnerable people, such as inmates of a youth detention centre.

Lily loves to pass her passion for landscape onto young people.  In 2017 she received an RHS Volunteer Award for her role in the ‘Plan It’ schools competition, working as moderator for the design of a community garden with Swanlea Secondary School in East London. Since October 2016, Lily has acted as a Landscape Ambassador for the Landscape Institute in the UK.
