Founder & Creative Director
Noel has successfully practiced as a Landscape Architect for 30 years and has extensive experience in both the public and private sector, as an accomplished master-planner and strategist who delivers award-winning schemes.
He is proud to have run Farrer Huxley Associates for over 22 years. Alongside this, Noel is a Trustee and Board member for the Landscape Institute, a CIC Board Member, DC CABE national design review panel member, and he currently sits on the Government’s Design Advisory Panel for new housing development (amongst other regional Design review panels). His is Past President of the LI, Past Chair of Policy Committee, and a regular columnist and thought leader on current landscape issues.
All of Noel’s work is founded on the belief that landscapes make an essential contribution to the generation of sociable and sustainable communities. He has a particular passion for housing, and believes high quality public spaces make a huge contribution to people’s lives.
Outside of Landscape Architecture, Noel’s main passions are cooking & beer.
