Woodside Square

St. Luke’s Hospital, located in North London’s Muswell Hill, was formerly an inpatient mental health hospital. With historic buildings and a location next to Highgate Wood, this residential development presented an exceptional opportunity to create a vibrant landscape, which  would make a meaningful contribution to the lives of residents. It is a scheme in which distinctiveness of place emerges both from the physical landscape and the community who inhabit it. 

 

Devons Road

Architect: CJCT / PTAL
Client: Peabody Housing Trust


Devons Road is located along Violet Road and close to Devons Road DLR station in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.  The design of the external areas provides a green setting to the proposed multi storey buildings and allow residents to enjoy the various areas for play, socialising and contemplation.

 

Landmark Pinnacle

Architect: Squire and Partners
Client: Chalegrove Properties Ltd


FHA has been involved in creating a series of breathtaking communal spaces on the 27th, 56th and 75th floors of this landmark development in Canary Wharf. On the 27th Floor we have proposed an ‘outside’ environment. Higher up, on floor 56, an elegant and calm space for meeting, contemplation and reading. Floor 75 is inspired by the idea of ‘sitting in clouds’ and the overall experience will be spectacular and otherworldly.

 

Barnfield Estate

Barnfield is home to more than 1800 residents, all from diverse backgrounds. The estate faces a range of complex social, physical and economic issues particularly focused around anti-social and gang related activity.

FHA undertook extensive consultation with estate residents, a Resident's Group, and a Partnership Group of local stakeholders and businesses. This led to a community-led masterplan that delivers a strategy for positive change for all.
