Chash Toro

Assistant Landscape Architect

Chash was drawn to landscape architecture during her MA at the Royal College of Art where, although she studied Architecture, her work focussed on multi-disciplinary practices surrounding landscape, design and biodiversity. Since then she has worked as a landscape designer, working on a range of projects from furniture and play design to town squares and parks.

She is interested in alternative ways of reading a landscape and finding creative ways to design with it, rather than for it. Chash is exceptionally skilled in illustration, translating design concepts in an evocative and accessible way.

She was born in Chile, but grew up between Barbados and Scotland. In her extra time she likes to work on projects from graphic to exhibition design or spend time making, painting, or embroidering, all whilst daydreaming of her dog on the beach in Barbados.
