Farrer Huxley (previously Farrer Huxley Associates) is a practice of landscape architects and community engagement experts, based in London and working on projects throughout the country.

 

  • Landscape Architect / Senior Landscape Architect (6-month contract)

    We are looking for a landscape architect/senior landscape architect with at least three years’ experience, including the UK planning context, to join our team for a six-month sabbatical cover (with the possibility that this could become a permanent position following the initial contract).

    Our small and friendly team has a wide range of skills, from engagement and planting design through to environmental expertise and technical delivery. We work in a relaxed and close-knit environment where everyone is encouraged to have a creative voice and is supported as an individual.

    Farrer Huxley is looking for a Landscape Architect/ Senior Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3 years’ experience who is:

    • comfortable in the day-to-day running of projects and managing/ coordinating with the project team

    • organised and able to lead on/ coordinate several projects

    • self-motivated and happy to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and/ or other consultants

    • confident in attending meetings and presenting work

    • experienced in producing planning reports and tender packages

    • familiar with engagement-led design, the UK planning system and working to RIBA stages

    • conversant with Adobe CC and AutoCad

    • knowledge/ experience of Revit would be beneficial

    Farrer Huxley is based in London, as are the majority of our projects. Whilst we would prefer to work with a landscape architect who can attend site visits and in-person meetings where required, we are also happy to consider remote and flexible working arrangements.
